Nevada's Interventional
Pain Management Specialists
Founded in 2015, Velazquez Pain Relief Center has grown into one of Nevada’s leading multi-specialty pain management practices — serving patients across Clark and Washoe Counties with compassionate, evidence-based care.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, goal-based, interventional pain management to reduce pain levels and restore functionality. We believe the most effective way to achieve this is by utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, creating an individualized treatment plan for each patient that addresses the physical, functional, and psychological aspects of chronic pain. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of care while enriching the community through education and compassion.

Where Does It Hurt?
We treat a wide range of pain conditions — from head to toe — using minimally invasive, interventional techniques designed to restore function and get you back to living.
Head Pain
Headaches and migraines can be debilitating conditions that significantly impact your quality of life. Our team develops individualized treatment plans to identify the source of your head pain and provide lasting relief.
Neck Pain
Neck pain can result from cervical disc disease, nerve compression, whiplash, or degenerative changes in the spine. We offer targeted interventional treatments to reduce pain and restore mobility.
Nerve Pain
Nerve pain — including neuropathy, sciatica, and radiculopathy — can cause burning, shooting, or tingling sensations. We use targeted interventional techniques to interrupt pain signals at their source.
Abdominal Pain
Chronic abdominal and pelvic pain can stem from nerve-related conditions that are often overlooked. Our interventional specialists evaluate and treat complex abdominal pain using minimally invasive approaches.
Low Back Pain
Lower back pain is one of the most common and disabling conditions we treat. Whether caused by disc herniation, lumbar stenosis, or sacroiliac joint dysfunction, we offer precise, minimally invasive interventions.
Hip / Pelvic Pain
Hip and pelvic pain can severely limit mobility and daily function. Our team treats sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hip joint degeneration, and related conditions with precision injections.
Joint Pain
Joint pain from arthritis, injury, or inflammation can affect your shoulders, knees, hips, and beyond. We provide targeted joint injections and treatments designed to reduce pain and improve range of motion.
General Pain
Not all chronic pain fits neatly into one category. Our multi-specialty team takes a comprehensive approach to evaluating and treating complex or widespread pain conditions.
Our Treatments
We offer a comprehensive range of minimally invasive, interventional procedures — each tailored to your diagnosis and designed to restore function and relieve pain.
Nerve Block Treatment
Nerve blocks precisely target the specific nerves responsible for your pain, interrupting pain signals to provide meaningful and lasting relief. Our team uses advanced techniques to treat chronic pain, nerve damage, and inflammation — often reducing or eliminating the need for more invasive procedures.
Radiofrequency Treatments
Radiofrequency ablation uses controlled heat energy to disrupt the nerve pathways transmitting pain signals. This minimally invasive procedure offers long-lasting relief — often six months to two years — for conditions like facet joint pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and more.
SI Joint Fusion & Kyphoplasty
Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is a common and often under-diagnosed source of lower back and pelvic pain. We also treat vertebral compression fractures with kyphoplasty — a minimally invasive procedure that stabilizes the fracture and restores vertebral height to reduce pain.
Implant Pain Management
For patients with chronic pain that has not responded to other treatments, implantable therapies — including spinal cord stimulation — offer a transformative option. These advanced devices work by modifying pain signals before they reach the brain, providing continuous, adjustable relief.
Pain Management Injections
Epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, trigger point injections, and more — our injection therapies deliver anti-inflammatory medication directly to the source of pain. These targeted treatments reduce swelling, relieve pressure on nerves, and help restore your ability to move and function.
