Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026

Velazquez Pain Relief Center is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of our website for all visitors.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities — including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Features for Accessibility

Our website is designed with accessibility in mind. Features include:

  • Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Keyboard navigation throughout the site
  • Alt text for informative images
  • Descriptive link text and ARIA labels where appropriate
  • Resizable text without loss of functionality
  • Forms with clear labels and error messaging

In-Office Accessibility

All five VPRC locations are accessible to patients with mobility impairments. Our buildings and exam rooms comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Spanish-speaking staff are available across our locations, and additional language services can be arranged upon request.

Ongoing Improvements

We regularly review our website to identify and address accessibility barriers. Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are committed to continuous improvement and welcome feedback that helps us serve all patients better.

Third-Party Content

Some elements of our website, including embedded videos and third-party tools (such as the Patient Portal), are provided by third parties whose accessibility we do not directly control. We work to choose vendors that meet accessibility standards.

This Accessibility Statement is provided for informational purposes and reflects our ongoing commitment to making our services accessible to all.
